Dear HUG Families,
We are super excited for this coming school year!
This year’s theme is “community vs. network”. I can tell you one thing HUG is still going strong and with our focus on our community, we will be stronger than ever.
- A network consists of people you want to be connected to.
- A community consists of people that want to be connected to you too.
Looking into next semester, there are some great field trips lined up for both our younger crowd and teens. Even more, we continue to provide warm and intimate classes, clubs, and offerings “behind the scenes”; like Mom’s Night Out, Jesse Tree Ornament Exchange, International Pen pals, and Secret Sisters and Brothers, that are aimed at all our families. I implore all of the current HUG families looking to serve our community next semester to get your classes and clubs on the schedule asap!

This year, in order to effectively “grow” we are requiring all families to contribute to our HUG community by signing up to host, volunteer, or contribute to events, classes, clubs in some way that fits their schedule. For example, a family can “host” a pool party, or a parent can “contribute” his/her time to setting up and cleaning up an event or, perhaps “volunteer” to coordinate a field trip.
If you do not want to contribute by volunteering your time to host a club or class or set up a field trip, we are offering a buy-out; of $150/semester. (Much like the Vail Vikings do).
This is a sign up with some ideas to get you started, but feel free to add anything you would like to “host”, “volunteer”, “contribute”, that you think would benefit our entire homeschool group. CLICK HERE
We don’t just want HUG to be a “network”, we want it to be a “community” where we know each other’s names and those of our kiddos. We want relationships to develop. That is why participation is a must.

**When registering for this semester you have three choices: you can register per family at $30/semester and volunteer, or become a HUG Sponsor with includes registration for $200/annually, or purchase a buy-out of $150/semester. Sponsorship means your company is highlighted on our website, telegram, and newsletters and includes a direct link to your business.**
